Well, now that the MLB season is over, we dive into the offseason. Of all of the players the Red Sox are interested in, my favorite of them is Mark Teixeira. If he were on Boston, he would make the Sox better than ever. Now, in the pitching field, I have been particularly interested in A.J. Burnett. I watched him pitch and I think he would be a great addition to a strong Boston pitching staff. Now, onto the Lugo deal with the Tigers. I really do hope this deal goes through, preferably with DWill. I've seen him pitch and last seasons pitching was bad, but I think he could survive on a much better team. Getting rid of Lugo would be nice because his backup is great and we do not need him. Possible Boston Lineup: 1. Jon Lester 2.Dontrelle Willis 3.Daisuke Matsuzaka 4.Josh Beckett 5. A.J. Burnett That would be a great starting 5. With 3 or 4 possible all-stars, the Sox could hold one of the best starting lineups. Then, all we would have to get is a better bullpen. I will be going on a vacation, so I will be gone until next sunday.
